A Pretty Dendrobium

Here is a Dendrobium with attractive lilac colour occring in altitudes around 500M above MSL. The flower shape is very similar to that of Den. ovatum except its colour. I am not sure about its identity. The flowers last for 3 - 4 weeks. They are lithophytes ( growing on rocks ) and flowers during Feb - March.

  2. Thanks for the comment. But Dendrobium barbatulam as far as I know are some what simlar to D ovatum and I have found that they are with thicker canes and they are very erect. But this plant is with narrow leaves, more slender purple canes. Also they are lithphyts whereas D barbatulam I have seen are all epiphyts. Can you confirm the id??
